Service Interval Indicator

Service Interval Indicator (SII)

Pre-CBS BMW models feature a Service Interval Indicator (SII) that monitors specific usage and driving conditions and gives ample warning when maintenance is required. The Service Interval Indicator counts down the mileage until your next service. Upon completion of work performed, our Technician will reset the indicator.

Oil Service
• Change Engine Oil and Oil Filter
• Check thickness of front and rear Brake Rotors and Pads
• Check Handbrake condition and travel, adjust as needed

Inspection I
Oil Service as above, plus:

• Safety checks including Lighting, Electrical Systems, Steering, Braking components, Tires, Battery, Coolant and Fluid Levels
• Replace Microfilter/Pollen Filter for Heating/Air Conditioning system

Inspection II
Inspection I w/ Oil Service as above, plus:

• Replace Spark Plugs
• Replace Air and Fuel Filters (*periodically- change cycle depends on model)

Brake Rotor / Pad replacement
• Wearable components within Brakes are maintained to ensure high Braking performance and safety
• Clean Brakes and replace Brake Pads
• Check surface and measure thickness of Brake Rotors, replace if necessary

Brake Fluid change
• Replace Brake Fluid- Brake Fluid is hygroscopic (absorbs moisture); as such, its performance deteriorates over time
• Replacement Brake Fluid reduces corrosion of ABS components as well as maintains Braking performance
• Change on two year cycle

*On certain models, Air and Fuel Filters are replaced every third Oil Service
